The Pine House is a cozy Tahoe cottage with plenty of charm - and a red front door. Located in Tahoe Park on the West Shore - just about 1/2 mile from Tahoe City. After walking through the picket fence you enter the main level of the house which consists of the living room, dining area, kitchen, bath and one bedroom. The stove/range is smaller than standard size - a big turkey will not fit and there is a floor furnace in the livingroom - just FYI. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The brick fireplace, knotty pine walls and fun Tahoe decor combine to make this little cottage a lovely home-away-from-home.

The private (gated)Tahoe Park homeowners beach,pier and park area is a few blocks away. The cottage is close to great restaurants (Sunnyside resort and Firesign Cafe are a couple of blocks away). Located about 1 mile from Tahoe City. Golfing, hiking, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, kayaking - all of Tahoe winter and summer activites are close by.

This is a great cabin that we will come back to with our very happy Golden Retriever. The hot tub was clean and ready to enjoy! Debbie and Ashley were great to work with - they knew all the best spot to eat, hike and take our dog. We'll be back!

We had a great family vacation in this nice cottage. It was our first trip to Lake Tahoe and this location was great! It is close enough to the private beach to walk, but we liked that there was parking too so that we didn't have to carry everything very far. The only down side to the beach is no dogs allowed and we had hoped our golden could swim. The kids enjoyed collecting rocks and beach glass. There are also the cleanest beach bathrooms I have ever seen as well as lots of grills and picnic tables. The restaurants and drop offs for rafting as well as the Tahoe Gal cruise are about 10 minutes away by car but you could bike it. The cottage was as described. We were impressed by the amount of towels and kitchen supplies. The hot tub was great. The only complaint was no air conditioning and we were there during a hot week. The upstairs was a little warm. We would recommend this charming cottage.
