The name of this home West Shore Serenity says it all! Located in the peaceful neighborhood of Tahoma, this home sits one block up from Lake Tahoe.

This beautiful updated 3 bedroom/2 bath mountain home, that sleeps up to 10, offers just about everything you would need to begin your Tahoe memories.
The owners have just added a HOT TUB !! Just outside the back door is a wonderful, muscle and soul soothing hot tub. There is nothing like a tub while the snow is gently falling!

The slate entry way opens to the spacious great room. The livingroom features an amazing lodge-style rock fireplace that soars up two stories. The red couches are delightfully comfy (nap anyone?). The dining room seats 10 - and in the summer you can dine outside as well. The kitchen is spacious and features granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and is extremely well appointed. The laundry room is also on the entry level as is a full bathroom with shower.

For the true techies - The owners have installed a 47 inch flat screen TC with Cable, Blue-ray/DVD, Apple TV and stereo system with iHome connect and wifi broadband.

The 3 bedrooms are located upstairs. Two of the bedrooms have queen sized beds with down comforters and flat screen TV's, Blue Ray DVD's and iHome Bluetooth alarm clocks. The third bedroom is host to 2 twin bunk beds, each with a twin trundle providing room for up to 6 children to snuggle in.

In the summer the back yard features a BBQ, table with umbrella and chairs, an outdoor volleyball/badmiton court, and outdoor fire pit for yummy s'mores!. The HOA beach and pier is about a block away. There are charming little eateries and a market about 50 yards away. Right next door to this home open space.

The home was updated this year and all the amenities are new - linens, towels, pot/pans, etc., etc. The owners have equipped the home with just about every amenity they could think of and enjoyed or missed at fine hotels and rental homes over the years from in room music to even the smaller details such as hairdryers and a spice rack. In case they have missed anything - they (and we) welcome your suggestions.

The owners have worked hard to make sure the interior of the home is ready for your vacation, and continue to improve and upgrade the exterior as we write this - so keep an eye out for many more improvements!

Please be considerate - this a smoke and pet free home. A Chef's Dream in the Heart of Tahoma We had the pleasure of staying here for our last vacation. The best part was how well stocked the kitchen was. It had every appliance and gadget needed to make gourmet meals. We sat outside on the new patio furniture and had a fire in the fire pit every night. All the sheets and bedding are new and very comfortable. We can't wait to come back. We highly recommend this rental.

What a pleasant surprise! We have rented homes in Tahoe for decades, but this recently refurbished home had to be the best vacation home we have ever rented. (without a lake view...that is!) The most notables were the cleanliness; the complete turn-key amenities; the quiet treed location; the vast array of media in every room; and the outdoor sports set up in the backyard. I felt that we were visiting a friends home that made us feel welcomed. I could only hope that other rental property owners could care about their property as this wonderful home.
