Starwood is an beautifully constructed Lindal Cedar home overlooking the blue, blue waters of Lake Tahoe.
The spectacular views of the lights of South Shore and Heavenly at night cannot be topped... unless it is the moon rising over the mountains or viewing the stars that seem close enough to touch.

Upstairs, this luxury home offers a sunlit great room with vaulted ceilings. The living area has comfortable William-Sonoma down filled sofas, a gas Mendota fireplace with auto-thermostat, 42 inch LCD HDTV/DVD with Satelitte and a wall of windows inviting you to enjoy the sun and the unsurpassed views of lake and mountains. The chefs kitchen is complete with Hickory cabinetry, Granite counter tops and Stainless Steel Appliances. The kitchen is wonderfully well equipped - of course! The dining area has seating for 10 with expansive views. A large deck is complete with a gas BBQ and relaxing furniture for outdoor living.
Also on the 2nd level are two more bedrooms - one is the master en suite with a king size bed and it's own lakeview deck. The master also has a gas fireplace with remote and a TV/VCR/DVD (no cable).
The second bedroom offers a double bed. There is also a half bath on this level.
The entry level offers two bedrooms - one with a queen size bed - one with 2 sets of bunk beds. The bunk room also has it's own TV/DVD/VCR (no cable).
Also on this level is a full bath and a Family Room that is absolutely perfect for family fun. The owners have equipped this room with a queen sofa sleeper, TV/DVD/VCR, XBox with adult & kids games, board games, DVD's, Book, puzzles, etc - you may have a hard time pulling the kids and kids-at-heart out of this room! A 2 car garage completes this level.

The owners want to make sure you have a unforgetable vacation and have included beach chairs and towels so you do not have to pack your own - and best of all they have purchased a high chair, booster seat and a porta crib for the younger set. There is also a baby gate at the top of the stairs. The down comforters, duvets and towels are all made of the highest quality. There are ipod clock radios in each of the bedrooms. Absolutely no comfort has been overlooked in decorating and equipping this newer home.

Once you enter this home you will not want to leave - unless it is to sit on the sandy beach.
The private sandy homeowner beach in Rubicon Bay has a shared pier and volleyball court. The Meeks Bay boat launch is just about 1 mile away.

We absolutely loved this house!!! We have stayed here for the last couple of years and have had a wonderful time. Our kids love the games and puzzles and most of all the beach. We loved sitting on the deck watching the lake and even saw eagles this year. Thanks for making your home a special place for us in Lake Tahoe. We will come back year after year.

What a beautiful setting. The spacious decks were perfect for reading or conversation with what must be one of the most spectacular views in the world (not to mention star gazing at night). The house is well layed out and very comfortable. It was a perfect place for our extended family to vacation and relax.
